Seventy-year-old Eileen Wilkinson says she was glad to hear Sanders stick up for social security and health care. “Now’s the time for Wall Street to help the American middle class”, he added. “Think about that for a moment”. With this in mind, I suspect Sanders would prefer that the Supreme Court act as a rubber stamp for his whims than a body that holds him in check.

Absent a crystal ball, none of Sanders’ proposals would have prevented what happened last week in Oregon. (He also has taken mixed positions on gun control, supporting a ban on assault rifles, for instance, but opposing the Brady Bill). “And, most of all, he is authentic and believable”.
“I realize how much of a fight this is going to be if he’s to become president”. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., who has endorsed Clinton, said that Sanders’ economics-first focus makes sense in West Virginia. Why do we want four more years of it?
