University of OR student Xander Berenstein is a Sanders supporter. Sanders said he’s hoping for a high voter turnout in OR because that’s when he tends to win.

“On May 17 let us have a huge voter turnout”. Plouffe tweeted this week that Sanders’ quixotic quest for the nomination was “fraud”.Fredrick said the Internet-centric nature of Sanders’s organization will make it easier to keep supporters together and energized.

Meanwhile, Republican presidential candidate John Kasich will hold a town hall in Portland on Thursday.

OR has 74 Democratic delegates and 28 Republican delegates up for grabs – small yet potentially crucial numbers for both parties in securing a nominee.

Polls in California already show a competitive race there between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders with the most recent poll there, released by Fox News on April 22, showing Clinton ahead by only two percentage points – a statistical tie in the state. He pointed out the primaries and caucuses he has won thus far.

“We must not have a Republican in the White House”.

Sanders was most recently campaigning in OR in March, when the presidential hopeful spoke to thousands of supporters at the Moda Center in Portland.

Note: The numbers are limited due to time (as recorded since last March 2016), source (not all corporate donations captured and not all individuals could be verified are also not captured) and size (smaller donations not recorded because they are not publicly recorded).
