Bernie Sanders plans Saturday rally in Delaware
A total of 462 delegates are up for grabs in the Democratic contests next Tuesday.

He was hoping to win more than 50 percent of the vote in NY against rivals Ted Cruz, a USA senator from Texas, and Ohio Governor John Kasich. “Trump fits neither of those criteria, so he stands to have the most to lose”.
On the Pennsylvania Republican primary ballot, delegate prospects are not listed with any candidate allegiances. Sanders had been an independent who identified as a democratic socialist. The eventual winners of the party nominating campaigns will face each other in November’s general election. It found that 72 percent of GOP voters believe the candidate with the most votes should secure the nomination if there is no delegate majority.
Trump also slammed President Obama on his foreign policy.
For Trump, the win brings him closer to nailing down the 1,237 delegates needed to win the Republican nomination and avoid a contested GOP convention in Cleveland in July. “We have probably spent Dollars 4 trillion in the Middle East”, the Republican front runner said in his speech.
█ We don’t have much of a race. “Here’s what’s happening, nobody is going to get enough delegates”, Kasich told a crowd in Annapolis, Maryland. In order for the Democrats to build from this primary season, it is critical that they put the back-and-forth of a contentious campaign behind them. The 210 delegates are mostly divided proportionally by congressional district or statewide results, with the balance serving as superdelegates.
Donald Trump is speaking to supporters at a rally in Harrington Friday afternoon, and Bernie Sanders has just announced a rally of his own at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington.
“Again, we are, right now, I am working really hard this week in Pennsylvania”, Sanders said.
But for John Kasich’s win in Manhattan, he and Ted Cruz (who polled 15% of the votes) were left with nearly nothing in NY, a state that had rich pickings for a candidate winning 50% or more votes, which Trump achieved with surprising ease.
“It is a two-way street”, he said.

Rooney said Clinton’s path in Pennsylvania should be clearer this year. “You know, you’ve proved once again there’s no place like home”.
