Bernie Sanders Promises Justice for All in New Political Ad
In New York, Sanders got 57 percent of their votes; in MI, 62 percent.

Hillary Clinton’s highest priority in a vice presidential pick is a victor rather than “personal credibility” or “ideology”, the New York Times reported over the weekend. In early April, he brought on experienced political operatives Paul Manafort as “convention manager” and Rick Wiley as national political director.
“Bernie has said he’s going to support the nominee, and I’m sure he’ll do everything to make sure that the next president is a Democrat”, the Sanders’ campaign senior advisor Tad Devine tells The Washington Post, with the caveat that the campaign still believes their candidate will be the nominee.
“What I asked them to do was to listen, to people with new ideas like Senator Bernie from Vermont”, said Meriden resident Mary Meah.
Prior to the NY primaries, the frontrunners from both parties had suffered a string of losses.
Last technical thing to keep in mind (for now) in this incredibly complicated process: a primary or caucus is considered “closed” when participation is limited to only registered members of that party, “open” when participation is open to all registered voters and “mixed” when independent voters are allowed to participate. Both will surely use these wins to reinforce their campaign’s attitudes that their nomination is inevitable. If anything, the back and forth battle for delegates has become that much more embattled. Kasich is clearing a path for Cruz in IN and Cruz is doing the same for the OH governor in OR and New Mexico.
Even though Trump is poised for a good night on Tuesday’s slew of primaries, his clenching of the nomination is not a forgone conclusion. The voting in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island means 172 Republican and 462 Democratic delegates are up for grabs this week.
For Democrats, delegates will be doled out proportionately on Tuesday. It is the city of Philadelphia where the Democrats will hold their convention this summer and formally elect their nominee.
Five Northeastern and mid-Atlantic states, dubbed the Acela Corridor block after the Amtrak line that serves them, will go to the polls Tuesday.
While Clinton begins to shift her language, many other changes will be made quietly behind the scenes. In the same breath, the victory wasn’t a clean sweep as it is being purported by her campaign and its allies.
Sanders, in Hartford, “Let me take a moment to talk about some of the differences between Secretary Clinton and myself”.
A voter smokes a cigarette before a Trump campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Trump says that, “if you collude in business or if you collude in the stock market, they put you in jail”.
When superdelegates are included, Clinton’s lead after an average performance on Tuesday would require Sanders to start winning far more than the three of every four delegates he needs now just to catch up.
