Bernie Sanders set to endorse Hillary Clinton’s presidential nomination

Trump, who at least temporarily has shuttered his California campaign offices, trails Clinton by 30 points in a two-person race and by 24 points when Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson is thrown into the mix. At the same time, nearly three-quarters say the outcome of the election matters to the nation’s ability to make progress on important issues, and 8 in 10 say they’ve given quite a lot of thought to the election. I’m not sure which Hillary Clinton I’d be voting for.

There’s a Granite State precedent for a healing of Democratic presidential primary wounds. A majority – 60 percent – of “conservative” voters expressed support for Trump, and another 14 percent stated they were “undecided”. Still, Clinton will have more delegates in attendance.

A new survey from the Pew Research Center finds American voters rate their choice of candidates as the least satisfying since 1992.

Thus far, Clinton’s campaign has buried the GOP nominee in fundraising and ad spending.

Unlike Warren, who was elected to the Senate in her first try at public office, however, Stein has been defeated in a string of state and national elections.

“However, neither candidate has an advantage on honesty: 40 per cent say the phrase “honest and truthful” better describes Clinton, 37 per cent say it applies more to Trump and 20 per cent volunteer that it better describes neither candidate”, it said.

According to the poll, Donald Trump’s negative rating is still through the roof as about 60 percent of Americans view him unfavorably. She had the backing of 16 percent of Republicans, while only 5 percent of Democrats said they planned to vote for Trump.

Clinton continues to hold a wide lead among blacks.

“We just started our fundraising efforts in the last week of May and we are extremely pleased with the broad-based support in the last five weeks”, said Trump’s finance chairman, Steven Mnuchin, in Wednesday’s email statement. In a much bigger national spotlight, it will be even more hard for Hillary to avoid responsibility for thwarting the will of the party and its activist and voter base.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is expected to formally endorse presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, potentially ending tensions between the two and easing the concerns of party leaders hoping for a united front ahead of the nominating convention later this month.

Bernie Sanders has been trudging through a long primary battle against Hillary Clinton.

The endorsement comes after almost a month of foot-dragging by Sanders following Clinton’s unofficial clinching of the nomination in early June.
