Bernie Sanders slams Hillary Clinton for using ‘racist term’
Hillary Clinton, traversing across California for fundraisers, lauded the state on Saturday for what she called leadership on a host of issues, including raising the minimum wage and increasing compensation for those taking paid family sick leave. Tickets for the Los Angeles event, which was co-hosted by Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw and Haim and Cheryl Saban, were priced at $33,400 per person. And that’s why so many people don’t vote, why they understand that congress ends up working for the people on top rather than their interests.

Clinton, the Democratic presidential frontrunner, is scheduled to appear with George Clooney at fundraisers in the Bay Area on Friday and in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Clinton spokeswoman Christina Reynolds emphasized in a statement that Clinton’s fundraising at these events are meant to also benefit the Democratic Party, through the joint fundraising committee.
Another protestor on a megaphone was more damning: “We know that this is political bribery, openly accepted in our country!”
‘You’ll get them, yes, ‘ Sanders said. “They’re absolutely right”, he said.
“It is an obscene amount of money”, Clooney said in an interview with NBC News that aired Sunday. “I don’t even think politicians do”, Clooney said.
Asked by host Chuck Todd whether donors would enjoy better access for giving sums as high as $353,400, Clooney says, “No, I actually don’t think that is true”.
Despite hosting the big money gig to show his support for Clinton, George agrees with the protesters, insisting it is “ridiculous” how much money it takes to run a political campaign.
Clinton has a significant lead in pledged delegates over Sanders in the race for the Democratic nomination for the November presidential election.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Let’s get a response now from Senator Bernie Sanders. “It is an obscene amount of money”.
California holds their primary on June 7.
Mrs Clinton is leading her Left-wing rival by 12 points, while Donald Trump looks set to comfortably claim the Republican contest.

“But we also need to be concerned about the greed and recklessness of the gun lobby as well”, Clinton said.
