Bernie Sanders spends the day with Killer Mike in Atlanta

It’s official: Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio will all be on the all-important New Hampshire primary ballot early next year. He wrote on Twitter that he had chose to support Sanders after the Vermont senator called for the restoration of the Voting Rights Act, which the supreme court weakened in 2013. The candidates have suggested the Obama administration has been too aggressive in deporting people living in the US illegally.

The Run The Jewels star has previously spoken out in favour of the Democrat, but this week, he threw his full support behind Sanders after spending time with him one-on-one.

Sanders announced the lineup Friday, as part of a swing down South in the race for the Democratic nomination for president next year.

Killer Mike give Senator Sanders a hug.

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders shared a meal on Monday in Atlanta with rapper Killer Mike of the two-man outfit Run the Jewels. “It’s much more important for me to tell people what I will do as president and how it affects them”, he told The Associated Press in September. “I’m not here to talk about utopian society where everyone is forgiven and no one has to pay for past debts”. I’m talking about today, the Martin King post-the Washington march. “Martin King on the war on poverty”.

The other, more notable feature of Sanders’ discussion of the approach toward ISIS was his eagerness to place the burden on Arab states to lead the effort. In Killer Mike’s view, it is the candidate’s unyielding conviction that is needed to make real change happen.

“I have to tell you that in my heart of hearts, in my heart of hearts, I truly believe that Sen”. I am here as a proponent of a political revolution that says healthcare is a right of every single person.

Hear Killer Mike say more about why he’s supporting Sen.

I didn’t come here to lollygag ’cause I rap.

In order to be on the ballot in the first-in-the-nation primary, candidates must be a registered member of either the Democrat or Republican party.
