Bernie Sanders to conquer the black vote
Sanders has made overhauling the campaign-finance system a cornerstone of his populist campaign for the presidency, and some liberal election watchdogs say the New Hampshire results show that message matters to voters.

As the Democratic primary moves into more diverse states, three black Clinton supporters laid into Bernie Sanders’ record on a conference call with reporters on Wednesday – casting the Vermont senator as a newcomer to black issues, interested now because he is running for president. And she’s counting on strong black support in that state to give her a definitive victory.
Time and time again, Sanders has acknowledged that Clinton has more experience in foreign policy.
But there may be a hitch. In the end, the only demographic Hillary Clinton held onto from 2008 was voters over the age of 65. The former Secretary of State expressed her appreciation for the way that the people of New Hampshire take their responsibility for probing and evaluating the people who want to be president of the United States. He told NPR he was undecided.
In this election cycle, the first black President’s first lady has enjoyed remarkably solid support from African-Americans.
But upon further reflection, that changed. “Now, that is who I am”. “We can tell our story of how we climbed the ladder, and a lot of younger women think it’s done”, Albright said.
“When you’re young, you’re thinking, ‘Where are the boys?’ The boys are with Bernie”, Steinem said.
SC is prominently African-American and, according to a NBC/Wall Street Journal poll released January 28, Clinton had 74 percent of the black vote compared to Sanders’ 17 percent.
#2. There is a great deal of talk about Mrs. Clinton’s various “firewalls”-places where she theoretically could stop Sen”.
It’s a simple feminist tenet; women need to support other women. “Consistency is key for me”, Tolbert said.
Mr. Sharpton said that he would soon meet with Clinton, and then pronounce it for one of the two candidates.
“Sanders he needs to clarify policy positions, such as affordable or free college, universal health care”, Sheppard said. “I don’t know… Maybe he’s a fresh face”.
Of the 4,763 total delegates bound to vote for the candidate who voters choose, 712 members known as the superdelegates get to do whatever they want. “Hillary, she doesn’t really stand her ground”. “Anger is a powerful emotion”, she added, “but it’s not a plan”.
Honore pressed Bassett on Bill Clinton’s so called “crime bill”, the 1994 Violent Crime Control Act, which experts claim greatly increased the number of blacks in prisons throughout the country.
That’s because Sanders, whose impressive fundraising has put him on equal footing with Clinton, has invested heavily in a state that was hard-hit by the real estate bust.
There was a theme in the questions. Barack Obama could do that, and her husband could do that.
But the message has not resonated, much to the frustration of the Clinton campaign.
This is what makes Clinton so powerful in the Democratic race – even while she and Sanders battle it out among rank-and-file voters, she has a massive lead among superdelegates. What’s different about this contest is the size of the gulf between young Democrats and the rest of the party.
Small donors rewarded Sanders’ victory speech stump for funds with more than $5 million. Clinton, however, mastered the art of dog-whistling to racist working-class whites, and so he never received the criticism he deserved. Non-white voters include Asians and the entrance poll does not break racial categories down beyond white and non-white.

“One of the big things that separates us from past insurgent campaigns is that we’ll have the resources to enable us to compete across a broad range of states”, said Tad Devine, a senior strategist for Sanders.
