Sanders’ campaign has shockingly closed the gap between himself and Clinton in Iowa. Sanders’ support in New Hampshire has increased 10 percentage points since the last poll was conducted in late November and early December.

The list of Sanders’ backers includes four sitting state senators and 30 representatives, including House Majority Leader Rep. Jeff McCabe and Secretary of State Matt Dunlap.

Clinton, while saying the decision to use a private email system was a “mistake,” vehemently denies she did anything improper. Monmouth notes that a full three quarters of the respondents took the survey prior to Sunday night’s Democratic debate, which pundits and voters agreed was won by Sanders. As for Sanders, among the public overall more are favorable than are unfavorable – something that can not be said of any of the other candidates, Democrat or Republican.

“Seven months ago, he said he was the establishment”, Cruz said, pointing to Trump’s donations to both Democrats, but also Republican establishment leaders like Mitch McConnell. Al Franken and women’s tennis legend Billy Jean King – along with daughter Chelsea and former President Bill Clinton, who made several stops along the Vermont border where Sanders is most popular.

“Are you ready to make America great again?” she said repeating Trump’s campaign slogan in a 20-minute speech filled with Palinisms like “pussy-footin'”, “hallelujah” and “you betcha”, according to CNN. 69% of Democratic primary voters have confidence in her ability to deal with terrorism, compared with 57% who say that about Sanders. But one veteran of her husband’s administration is dismayed with her campaign and considering throwing his support to Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
