Recently linked to West Ham as well, Gomez is willing to leave Viola by resigning, while Italian club want to gain some cash from his departure.
Besiktas spokesperson Metin Albayrak expressed hope of signing Gomez permanently amidst the interest shown by Barcelona and Dortmund.
West Ham are prepared to go to £20m and have initiated contact with the Welsh club.
Besiktas were hopeful of signing Gomez on a permanent deal but the 31-year-old is reportedly eager to play in another country following the recent political unrest in Turkey.
Speaking to Dogan News Agency, Albayrak said, “This morning I spoke on the phone with Slaven Bilic, who assured me that West Ham United is not interested”.
He continued, “We still hope to have him with us, and so do our fans”.

“We are observing the situation, and we also know that Mario is in talks with Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona”.
