On Aug 14th, the Apple Watch will be available for sale at Best Buy stores in Canada, and for American customers it will be ready sooner on August 7th. Most Apple products post their best success in the days and early weeks after they are released.

According to Best Buy senior category officer, Jason Bonfig, “The Apple Watch is a big addition to our stores and website, and we know our customers want it”. Another 200 stores will begin stocking the Apple Watch in time for the holidays.
Apple Watch will be available online and at Best Buy’s retail stores across Canada.
For Apple, there’s obviously a trade-off here. It’s not entirely certain if the new OS will allow for custom watch faces, but it’s expected that Apple will introduce more built-in options, at the very least. On the other hand, however, this seems antithetical to Apple’s existing Watch rollout, in which the company appeared to want to control the purchasing experience and build upon its retail-sales-per-square-foot figure.
And even the lowest estimate of 1.5 million Apple Watch sales would be more than the 1.3 million that all the other players, such as Samsung, are estimated to have sold in the second quarter.
For Apple investors, does it really matter?
The blog states customers will be able to see, try and buy 16 Apple Watch models – including Sport and Watch models in both 38mm and 42mm sizes – and almost 50 accessories, including watch bands, screen shields, stands, chargers and more.
The watch, with entry to telephone, e-mail, music and details about your exercise, additionally will probably be obtainable on-line from Best Buy.
Despite the assurance from Cook of strong demand for the watch, estimates for the watch will keep on coming unless Apple comes out with the actual sales number.
Apple released its first smartwatch to the public back in September 9, 2014 at a press event that coincided with the launch of the iPhone 6.

It was only on June 4, 2015 that Apple announced it will stock its stores with the Apple Watch. That said, let’s remember that Apple Watches are nearly immaterial to the company’s overall financial performance.
