Best Friends From Chinese Orphanage Reunite In Tear-Jerking Adoption Video
Four-year-old Hannah was adopted by the Sykes family from North Texas, and as the family was looking through Hannah’s adoption materials, she noticed in almost every picture, Hannah was with a little boy.

Almost a year later, Hannah and Dawson are back together, inseparable, and picking up where they left off.
Less than twenty-four hours later, while eating at Chick-fil-A, Chris and Amy Clary went from not even thinking about adoption, to having a friend talk them into adding a fourth child into their mix. So we posted pics of Dada and said this boy needs a family! Y’all this is such a God thing and an answer to prayer. A miracle. When we left Dawson in that orphanage my heart hurt knowing he didn’t have a family.
“Maybe wedding bells”, Sykes said, with a smile. We are so grateful to the Clary’s for giving him a forever home!
Hannah and Dawson are now neighbors, living just five minutes away from each other.
Sykes adopted Hannah from an orphanage in China in October, 2015.
“They had so little connection and so little consistency that they had each other for those first formative years”, said Sharon Sykes, Hannah’s mom.
Sharon Sykes, Hannah’s mom, learned that he was her best friend.
And Hannah couldn’t be any happier either to have been reunited with her “Dada” again. Her plea on Facebook reached Chris and Amy Clary, who despite already having three children under 5 years old, chose to adopt Dawson. “They hugged and laughed just like they do here (in the video)”, Sykes wrote. She started posting photos of him online to encourage her friends to adopt him.
Hannah and Dawson were only 2 and 3 years old when they last saw each other. Simmons encouraged one couple, Amy and Christopher Clary, to adopt the little boy.
Sykes returned home to Lewisville, Texas, and got to work finding Dawson a family.

Hannah and Dawson’s close relationship became apparent to Sykes as she and her husband were going through the adoption process. “And who knows, one day we may be in-laws”.
