Beta ho toh aisa: Anil Kapoor on son Harshvardhan
Harshvardhan Kapoor, son of actor Anil Kapoor, says he was quite determined to join the Hindi film industry but did not want to start his Bollywood journey with a typical commercial film. That time actors were doing so many films at one time.

“Nobody gave me employment from anywhere till I met Rakeysh and his team, now I don’t want to leave his team and I have told him to adopt me”, said Gulzar, in a lighter vein, at the film’s music launch in Mumbai on Tuesday. For Mirzya, he has written the screenplay and all the lyrics.
Asked if there a competition with his father Anil Kapoor who looks so young, he said: “All my girlfriends also say the same thing”. Mirzya also marks the Bollywood debut of Saiyami Kher, who is the niece of National award-winning actress Tanvi Azmi.
“Mirzya” is an epic romantic saga that is based on the love story of Mirza Sahiban.
Conceptualized by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, MIRZYA is a story which has a strong dose of action, love and passion.
Veteran lyricist/screenwriter/director Gulzar makes a screenwriting comeback with the Harshvardhan Kapoor-starrer, and recently shared the reason for his disappearance from the scene for a long time.
Harshvardhan first heard about the film after Mehra mentioned it to him way back in 2008, when Gulzar was writing it. So I was blown away with the script.

Speaking about the lineage to which Harshvardhan belongs, Anil said that his entire family has put in their everything into the film industry. “It’s romantic, complex, you get to play two characters, it is poetic, visual, so it is like a fever dream”, he added.
