There are already mods available for Fallout 4 and the list is growing at a rate that will surpass the number of mods for Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.

Starting Tuesday, Fallout 4 players on PC can grab the game’s “Creation Kit” tools – the same ones Bethesda used to build the game – from the Bethesda.net launcher.
Bethesda says it plans to “update and evolve” modding in the future and encourages users to leave feedback in its forums. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 can also look forward to the ability to add mods over the next couple of months. By right clicking Fallout 4 in your Steam library, selecting “Betas” and waiting for the game to update, you will gain access to the creation kit.
“We have a lot to do yet, but we hope it changes console gaming the way it has changed PC”, the studio explained.
More news about “Fallout 4”, its Creation Kit and future DLC packs should be made available in the future. And with the latest beta update on PC, players can browse, install, and enable mods all from within the game. In February, Bethesda director, designer and producer Todd Howard said official mod support for Fallout 4 would arrive in April.
If you’re a fan of Bethesda’s sprawling RPGs, then you’ve probably reached a point in your life where you’ve come to accept the Fallout Jank.
The team behind the very successful Unofficial Oblivion Patch and Unofficial Skyrim Patch is at it again with Fallout 4. However, it’s safe to presume that most, if not all players should be able to revel in the weird world of mods by experiencing the Thomas the Tank Engine mod or the Macho Man mod.

Despite being announced at last year’s E3, mods for Fallout 4 on home consoles is finally happening and their coming to Xbox One in May. A wiki of the Creation Kit is also available to flawless the handling of this tool.
