Three projects makes for an interesting shift for the studio, which most observers had assumed would be switching off between Fallout and Elder Scrolls games for the foreseeable future.

In addition to celebrating the DICE Awards wins, Bethesda announced that it is working on three new games. But you can bet we’ll be paying attention.

“They’re different than anything we’ve done before, while also being a Bethesda-style game: big and insane”.

During Howard’s chat session he also mentioned that the team at Bethesda’s Montreal studio were busy working on more mobile projects following last year’s addictive Fallout Shelter release.

Fallout 4 is an open-world adventure that is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Rather, the developer was concerned with the experience the game could offer.

And considering Bethesda love to keep things secret until absolutely the last minute, it’s probably going to be a while before we get any sorts of details about any of them. Find out the latest news about the Fallout 4 DLC including its release date, price, and features.

“And more important, that this is only the beginning”, Bethesda said. The Creation Kit is also in the works, which is expected to allow players to make and play mods. “In many ways, different than things we’ve done before”. The projects could be something completely unrelated to past games or design tools – they could be three new games in three new genres.
