Bethesda has announced plans for Fallout 4 DLC which most of you are probably already aware of, but now we can finally give you an official status update on the Fallout 4 Creation Kit release dates for Xbox One and then PS4 owners afterwards.
With its lengthy history as a console and PC publisher, there are all kinds of ways Bethesda can leverage its existing franchises on mobile.
Bethesda Softworks’ Fallout 4 was a best-seller when it launched with 12 million copies shipping at launch time. Although he didn’t mention them by name, GameSpot did cite examples of “Watch Dogs, The Crew, Far Cry 4, and The Division”.
Ubisoft’s video game, Watch Dogs, is said to have quite a stunning similarity to The Division, with the only main exception being the locale of Chicago versus New York City’s Manhattan, wherein there lies the Dark Zone, an open world component.
According to Bethesda’s Todd Howard, Day One sales of the best RPG released a year ago (according to DICE, that is) were higher in the digital realm. “We can’t wait to hear about their adventures”, Howard said following the game’s launch. “Movies and books, they can’t in that way”. The game is also readied for add-ons from DLCs with the patch.
