Still, when asked if it would be a simple port or was remade on Fallout 4’s engine, SoMeh stated that they couldn’t go into further detail (screenshot below).

A quick check of the video shows the Fallout 76’s Vault 76 imagery. Many, myself included, assumed it was probably for Fallout 4 on Nintendo Switch or something along those lines. Bethesda has posted a Twitter post with what very much looks like the loading screen for Fallout. At the end of that live-stream, the studio released a teaser trailer for what appears to be a new Fallout game.

Of course, some of the game’s size may depend on what kind of game Fallout 76 is. The general criticisms I have heard revolve around a weaker story, with less depth than fans were used to in previous games. The rumors sound exactly like the game Bethesda has been quietly threatening to make for years.

Keep your eyes peeled for more coverage of Fallout 76 from us this week, and check out the trailer below. Today, the company revealed a new project named Fallout 76 with a teaser trailer, which is reportedly an online survival RPG title influenced by DayZ and Rust. It has been nearly three years since the last major title in the series – the critically acclaimed Fallout 4. An online RPG means you will share your gaming world and your adventures with millions of other Fallout 76 players. Would it be The Elders Scrolls VI? Their last endeavor was a hero game called Battlecry, which Bethesda pulled the plug on. There is a decent amount of chatter regarding a Fallout 5 set in NY, however, this does not seem like a possibility. However, the sources indicate that Bethesda is still making changes to the game and that the final version may have many aspects revolving around that core design. And given Bethesda’s track record, there’s a strong chance that we’ll be playing this game much sooner than we think.

In 2015 it announced and released Fallout 4 so don’t be surprised if we’re looking at a near-finished product on stage next month with a release set for later this year.
