Bethesda touts ‘Fallout 4’ milestones
That initial stock represents sales totaling more than $750 million.

Twitch reported that the game was the most viewed launch amongst games released during 2015.
Steam showed that it had broken Grand Theft Auto V’s previously held record of most concurrent players of a (non-Valve) game (around 350,000) by quite a substantial margin, heading towards 470,000 games being played at the same time around the world.
A free mobile game spun from “Fallout” rocketed to the top of the charts at Apple’s online App Store after its release in June. According to Bethesda, Fallout 4 on launch day was selling more than any other game released this year at certain retailers.
“We’re extremely proud of Todd Howard, Game Director at Bethesda Game Studios, and his experienced team of developers for their talent and dedication in creating this extraordinary game”, Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks, said in a media statement. I ask them what the game is about, what makes Fallout so appealing to its fans, and, ultimately, if they’re having any fun playing it. The game sets the scene with an opening sequence that takes place before the blast, with you and your family quickly running to your assigned vault when the sirens go off. Like most vaults in the Fallout universe, Vault 111 is the subject of a insane experiment.
Fallout 4 is clearly a major success for Bethesda and it is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
What are your thoughts about this news? That’s not to say that 12 million people won’t buy Fallout 4, because that’s completely and entirely plausible, but they haven’t actually sold through that many… yet. Both games allow the players to make choices and play the game in their own style.
I guess it’s safe to say Fallout 4’s doing the business, then.
Bethesda’s game director Todd Howard has been teasing Fallout 4 DLC during the game’s Red Carpet Event.
How do you feel about Fallout 4?

I’ve heard two complaints about Fallout 4 from a few fans: that the graphics aren’t all that impressive for a current-generation title, and that it’s not fundamentally different from 2008’s Fallout 3 or 2010’s spinoff, Fallout: New Vegas. Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Welcome home. Fallout 4 is rated M for Mature by the ESRB.
