Bette Midler to return to Broadway in ‘Hello, Dolly!’
“Many times through the years I’ve been asked about bringing back ‘Hello, Dolly!,'” said Herman in a statement.

Hello, Dolly! all begin performances on March 13, 2017 and will officially open on April 20, 2017. Rehearsals, though, begin exactly one year from today. Jerry Zaks will direct with choreography by Warren Carlyle.
Bette Midler will star in a 2017 Broadway revival of the musical “Hello, Dolly!”, directed by Jerry Zaks and produced by Scott Rudin.
This time around, she’ll be getting a lot of help on stage for Hello, Dolly! and we can’t wait!! “To be able to bring the work of Gower, Jerry Herman, and Michael Stewart to life again, with the great genius that is Bette Midler, is as good as it gets for me”.
