The NHL Commissioner said that an executive committee will eventually suggest whether the league should add two teams, one or none, the Times reported.
Bettman said the decision by the executive committee, which will come in the form of a recommendation to the larger board, could still be months away.

Bettman said that couldn’t be further from the truth, and in fact at this point the National Hockey League will not allow another city into the current expansion process, which includes Las Vegas and Quebec City as the applicants.
