Beware! New Disney Signs Warn of Alligators

Days after a 2-year-old boy was snatched and drowned by an alligator at a lagoon in Disney World, the company is setting up warning signs alerting people to the potential danger posed by the reptiles.

“Under the water, where you couldn’t see, there was an alligator”, Santamaria, who was 8 years old at the time of the attack, said. His body wasn’t far from where the tragedy first unfolded.

Graves died due to drowning and traumatic injuries, the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office said. Saunders and Spackman were shocked they weren’t told by the resort.

“There are no words to convey the profound sorrow we feel for the family and their unimaginable loss”, George A. Kalogridis, president of Walt Disney World Resort, said in a statement.

After a toddler was grabbed by an alligator at a Disney World resort, a Saratoga County family said they were not warned of the risks during their recent trip.

Her three young kids and niece were playing on a resort beach at the water’s edge, with buckets and shovels provided by Disney employees, when the eyes of a 7-foot alligator peered above the surface, just feet away from the oblivious children.

Trappers have captured and killed at least five alligators since Tuesday’s attack in hopes of finding the alligator that killed Lane, but a determination has not been made as to whether they have caught the animal responsible.

Her concern was that the company knew how prevalent alligators were in their waterways, yet failed to educate guests on the dangers of their presence. “We don’t have alligators in Pennsylvania”. “We are devastated and ask for privacy during this extremely hard time”.

Disney Chairman and CEO Robert A. Iger called the Graves family and released a statement about the boy’s death. “To all the local authorities and staff who worked tirelessly these past 24 hours, we express our deepest gratitude”.
