Beyoncé celebrates birthday by releasing ‘Hold Up’ video on YouTube

Beyonce turned 35 years old on September 4, and that same day the world lost it’s mind.

And with such a momentous occasion at hand, the collective forces of the internet took a moment to wish “Happy Birthday”, to the one and only Queen Bey.

She said: ‘My biggest fear was during [Kanye and Jay Z’s 2011 tour] Watch the Throne that if I sit next to Beyoncé, she dances and she’s up, like, you know.

Beyonce released a new clip of her single “Hold Up” on Sunday in honor of her 35th birthday, reports Rolling Stone.

That’s right, Beyonce released a new music video for Hold Up on her birthday, which is part of her album Lemonade launched in April.

Along with the lemon, crown and bee emojis, the 46-year-old “Hero” hitmaker wrote on Twitter: ‘Happy birthday to the handsome Queen Bey!

On a side note, Beyonce has been accused of stealing the imagery from Pipilotti Rist’s 1997 “Ever Is Over All” video for her own visual.

Kim Kardashian celebrated Beyonce ‘s birthday with a very special performance on SnapChat.

“‘Beyism’ is a registered religion, so it’s legal to take the day off & celebrate her birthday!” The song set off a major firestorm on social media when it first debuted thanks to one lyric in particular: “You better call Becky with the good hair”.

Bey’s “Feeling Myself” co-singer Nicki Minaj, 33, wrote “Happy Bey Day to her excellence”.
