Earlier on in the show “Yonce also attempted to try and silence all the chat about her marriage by showing just how much she loves Hov – dedicating ‘Halo” to her man.
Speaking out to the crowd, Beyoncé said: “I want to dedicate this to my attractive husband”.
Beyonce has spoken about Jay Z for the first time since THOSE rumours – and what she said might surprise you.
It’s ancient gossip history at this point, but you probably remember the 2014 incident in which Beyonce’s sister, Solange Knowles, attacked Jay Z in an elevator at a Met Gala after-party.
However, the adult star didn’t reconsider her mistake and later posted a selfie on Twitter tagging herself as “becky with good hair”. Well, Beyonce is taking the free publicity (not that she needs any) and capitalizing on the phrase.
After the Miami Police union threatened to boycott Beyoncé over the apparent anti-police message of her video for Formation, the pop queen has made a decision to mock the whole controversy by selling her own shirts with “Boycott Beyonce” emblazoned on them. Her commanding performance of “Freedom” served as reminder to the world that she “breaks chains all by myself”.
As well as hubby Jay Z in the crowd, the likes of Ellie Goulding and Rick Ross bagged a place at the much-anticipated gig. She carried that theme into “Survivor”, encouraging those in the crowd who had “survived anything in your life, I want you to celebrate with me tonight”.
They married in 2008 and have a 4-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
