The 34-year-old’s performance was seen a rallying cry for the Black Lives Matter movement as the girls danced in an X formation, in tribute to civil rights leaders Malcolm X.

In the series of photos from the February 7 event, Blue is wearing a pink tutu and having fun with her mom’s famous friend, making us wish Chris was her honorary uncle.

Beyonce appeared at the Center for Early Education’s 75th Anniversary Gala at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium Saturday night (March 5) where she delivered a rousing cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”.

Her long, caramel tresses were worn in a center part, and styled in voluminous waves as she commanded the stage.

After showing off her impressive pipes, Beyonce pointed the microphone at the audience and encouraged them to sing along.

It’s not the first time Queen Bey has covered “I Will Always Love You”, which was originally written as a country song by Dolly Parton in 1973 before Houston released her acclaimed R&B version in 1992.

She also gave the parents a lowdown of some of her greatest hits including “Crazy in Love”, and “XO”.
