Beyonce took home video of the year and best female video – and also delivered a show-stopping 16-minute performance of tracks from her hit album Lemonade.

If there was any doubt that this night was all about Beyonce, she killed any notion of that idea with her wonderful medley of songs from her incredible “Lemonade” visual album.

“First of all I’d like to thank my handsome daughter and my incredible husband for all of their support”, said Beyonce, who walked the carpet with Blue Ivy by her side.

It all started with Drake buying a billboard for his sweetheart to congratulate her for her Video Vanguard Award Acceptance.

Her final performance was an intimate performance of her hits “Stay”, “Diamonds” and her newest single “Love On The Brain” featuring a white backdrop and a stunning sounding orchestra which complimented her emotional and raw singing chops.

The multiple victories helped Beyonce break the record for most VMAs ever with 24 wins to her name, surpassing the previous title holder Madonna, who has a total of 20 Moonman trophies.

Drake and Rihanna sent their fans into a frenzy Sunday night when he presented her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and not only declared his love for her but sealed it with a kiss.

You won’t be asking that again. Following her command for ladies to get in formation, her backup dancers fell into the female gender symbol at the end of the song.

The unusual, sexy video was the talk of Twitter with plenty of women and men gaping over her incredible figure, which is all the more incredible because she gave birth to her daughter less than a year ago. As Lochte, who is dealing with trouble after filing a false robbery report over an incident during the Rio Olympics, Fallon lied onstage about writing Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” and directing the videos nominated for video of the year.

Later that night, he posted a photo on Instagram of himself kissing Rihanna, and Rihanna kissing what appears to be a wine glass.

The annual VMA’s thrive on surprises and controversy, and organizers won’t say whether Beyonce, West, or sultry eight-time nominated British singer Adele will sing during Sunday’s live show. “They’re going to be so proud”.
