In a series of music videos linked with transitions, the singer revealed an hourlong special presentation and the first listen to “Lemonade”, her sixth studio album since breaking away from Destiny’s Child.

After a lot of anticipation and guesses on what #Lemonade was all about, Beyonce premiered the hour long project on HBO last night and it was her visual album.

We’re not sure, but Kim also shared some saucy images of other people’s body parts, and she threw in a couple of guests seductively eating candy floss too. She begins a major new tour this week in Miami.

The superstar set the Internet ablaze with speculations on whether her relationship with husband Jay Z would last, with song lyrics like “looking at my watch he should have been home”. In further evidence that they are still together, Beyonce released the album of “Lemonade” exclusively on the Tidal streaming service led by Jay-Z.

Videos also featured appearances by the mothers of two black men, Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin, whose shooting deaths, in Brown’s case by a Missouri police officer, have trained a spotlight on USA racial tensions.

In the album, she references the proverbial phrase, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. “Formation”-which appears only in the closing credits of the “Lemonade” film-shows Beyonce’s increasingly diverse musical instincts with the song driven by New Orleans-style bounce hip-hop”.

The pop star also tapped The Weeknd and Father John Misty, sensations in R&B and indie rock respectively, and adapts a chorus from punk revivalists the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
