The event will be hosted by Angie Martinez and all proceeds from the concert will go to the Robin Hood charity organization to support education. Lauryn Hill, Common, TIP, DNCE, Blood Orange and Robin Thicke, who could be teasing some new music, are also set to take the stage.
Emeli Sandé, Prince Royce, Salva, Cipha Sounds, Ross One, Angie Martinez, Bebe Rexh, Mark E. Bassy, Lil Yachty, Kevin Garrett, Danielle Bradbery and Sir The Baptist are among the the other artists now slated to perform.
“Supporting the community and having positive impact is a TIDAL tenet and mission”, said Dania Diaz, VP of Philanthropy, Roc Nation in a statement.
ROBIN HOOD Executive Director DAVID SALTZMAN added: “All of us at ROBIN HOOD are thrilled to partner with our friends at TIDAL to create one of the greatest concerts of all time”.
The show will take place on October 15, as the title would suggest, and will be streamed live exclusively on TIDAL.
Tidal members and American Express cardholders will be able to purchase presale tickets on September 22 at 10 a.m. EST. “We know that education can advance communities and can be the most powerful tool for change”.
