What are your thoughts on the Beyonce Super Bowl Formation thoughts from the pop diva herself? Some took to social media after Saturday’s release of the video, featuring Beyonce atop a sinking New Orleans cop auto in Katrina aftermath.

So, as far as we can tell, Beyonce won the Super Bowl this year with her epic half time performance of Formation. The headlining act of the event saw Coldplay enthrall the audience by opening the show with their popular track, Viva La Vida.

The show ended with the stars together on stage as spectators in the stands held up colorful cutouts to read out the words, “Believe in Love”. If Black Lives Matter, it is surely time to make black music matter again.

But, partnered with Mars on the football field, the tone of the performance was lighter than the video. Keep reading to find out what they had to say!

She then joined Mars and Martin for a quick re-visit to Uptown Funk, ending on Coldplay’s uplifting ballad Fix You, with images of past halftime performers including Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and the Black Eyed Peas.

The show saw both her, and her dancers, donning leather body suits and black berets reminiscent of the Black Panthers movement, a radical black political group of the ’60s rooted in Oakland, California; less that 50 miles from the Super Bowl’s location in Santa Clara.

The “Formation” tour marks Beyonce’s first solo tour since 2013’s “Mrs Carter Show World Tour” which spanned two years and brought her to five continents.
