Coldplay’s performance also earned negative reviews from the media. They included Bruce Springsteen, James Brown, Whitney Houston, U2, the Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson.

On Sunday, Coldplay treated the audience and home viewers with some of their biggest hits during the halftime show in San Francisco.
Coldplay opened on the field with a line from 2000’s “Yellow” and transitioned into its 2008 hit “Viva La Vida”.
“No matter where you are, we’re in this together”.
The singer emerged as a special guest to sing her surprise single “Formation” in the middle of the field.
For a very brief moment during her energetic performance, the star almost stumbled, but she recovered in no time.
Dressed in black leather and gold chains, Mars worked the stage in a frenzy of choreography that could only be matched by one person … A huge rainbow flag decorated the stadium.
Even before finishing the Super Bowl 2016 halftime show and throughout their act, Coldplay got flak on social media. There were no dancing sharks, no platforms lifting people up into the air above a shower of sparks.
The 50th edition of the Super Bowl kicked off with a passionate performance of the American national anthem by Lady Gaga.
It was warmth and fun and joy and lots of hugging.
Just one day after dropping her latest single “Formation”, Beyonce – who has not released an album since her self-titled 2013 release – revealed that she will be undertaking a stadium tour starting in April, with 22 concerts in North America and 15 in Europe so far.
