Beyonce brings black power to the Superbowl

After her performance at the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show, the Grammy victor announced her Formation World Tour, reports E!

The third part of the performance included a very cool flashback video montage that showed some of the greatest moments in Super Bowl music history, beginning with Bruce Springsteen and his crotch-first slide into the camera in 2009.

Though Chris Martin and his band were the headliners, the show really belonged to Queen B and Bruno, who have both performed on the big stage in recent years (Beyoncé headlined the halftime show in 2013 and Mars followed in 2014).

And Beyonce ensured it was her night by announcing during the telecast that her “Formation” world tour will launch on April 27th.

“It makes me proud”, Beyonce told Entertainment Tonight of the experience.

Coldplay, Beyoncé, and Bruno Mars took the stage at Super Bowl 50 for a breathlessly hyped halftime show, and turned in a performance to cap off 50 years of halftime history.

Leading a hot troupe of dancers, Beyonce stepped out in a Michael Jackson-inspired costume, rocking a black leotard with a black leather military-style jacket with gold embellishments.

Martin ended the show with “Beautiful Day” with Beyonce and Mars joining in to sing the lyrics, “Somehow we’re gonna get it together”, as the crowd in the stands held up signs that spelled out “Believe in Love”. “I wanted it to be something iconic and something that people would never forget”.

Shame the Caroline Panthers didn’t perform as well as Beyonce’s as the National Football League team lost to the Denver Broncos.

Dressed in black and wearing towering heels, she was flanked by a bevy of backing dancers as she took on Bruno Mars in a dance-off.
