Beyonce, Jay Z and Nicki Minaj Highlight New Tidal Charity Concert
Head honcho Jay Z, Beyoncé, Prince, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and a dozen-plus other artists are set to play Tidal X: 1020 Amplified by HTC (yes, that’s the official name) when it hits Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 20th.

In addition to revealing the huge milestone, he also provided a few cryptic details on a celebration that will reportedly take place in Brooklyn on October 20 in honor of the achievement. The public sale begins at noon Friday. The concert will also feature TlDAL rising acts like Alessia Cara, Justine Skye, the Flatbush Zombies, Bas, and Benjamin Booker. Tickets are priced at $74 through $244.
All proceeds from the event will go towards New World Foundation, with the goal to “benefit nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing positive community relations and effecting systemic change for the development and sustainability of just societies, this inaugural event’s philanthropic focus”. Tidal is platinum. 1,000,000 people and counting. “Let’s celebrate 10/20 Brooklyn”, tweeted Hova.
