Beyonce Releases Fiery Extended Trailer for ‘Lemonade’

The clip just features a woman – who is likely Beyonce “Queen Bey” Knowles herself – leaned over slightly with her face hidden from the camera.

Beyonce has left her worldwide group of fans and critics puzzled and anxious, yet somehow excited, about “Lemonade”. Bee whispers over the interspliced videos, “The past and the present merge to meet us here”.

The main image of the trailer is a dreadlocked Beyonce wearing a fur jacket, slowly lifting up her head until she’s fully upright by the end of the footage, which ends with the singer saying, “Pull me in, pull me in”. “Lemonade” will premiere at 9 p.m. Eastern on HBO and is being called a “world premier event”.

So what do you think Beyonce and HBO have planned for Saturday night?

The video cuts to the title screen for Lemonade, and the premiere date of next week, April 23. “What are you hiding?” she asks later, before adding, “You are the love my life”. Why can’t you see me? What am I doing, my love? Fans have been left wondering what the pop star was planning when she cryptically announced the project over the weekend, and finally a few questions have been answered.

Of course, fans expect this to be a new album, song, clip or even the announcement of baby no. 2 after the adorable Blue Ivy, but so far everyone’s completely in the dark.
