Beyonce’s ‘Formation’ wins MTV Video of the Year
After her highly political performance at the Super Bowl previous year, Beyoncé again shocked viewers last night.

As the night went on, Beyonce of course had people in awe has she performed songs from Lemonade, that included the “controversial” song “Formation”, which won Video of the Year.
The multiple victories helped Beyonce break the record for most VMAs ever with 24 wins to her name, surpassing the previous title holder Madonna, who has a total of 20 Moonman trophies. At tonight’s VMAs, she once again showed solidarity by bringing as her dates the mothers of victims in some of the most prominent instances of police brutality.
