Beyonce’s Super Bowl show bringing both praise and criticism
She posted a number of pictures from within the stadium during Coldplay’s show on her Instagram account which suggested she was very proud of her former spouse.

Despite Coldplay “headlining” the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, Queen Bey herself stole the spotlight… naturally. “And the song, the lyrics, which I couldn’t make out a syllable, were basically telling cops to stop shooting blacks!”
And Beyonce hopes the song will have a positive impact on her fans’ lives.
Joined by a troupe of dancers the Drunk In Love singer showed the boys how to put on a real show as she sang: “I’ll take what’s mine”.
The 34-year-old singer performed on the field right after Bruno Mars sang his hit song “Uptown Funk”.
But despite having a great time, Beyonce insisted the highlight on the event was Coldplay’s performance.
The British group opened with “Yellow”, followed by “Viva La Vida”, “Paradise” and “Adventures of a Lifetime”, but they were upstaged by the arrival of Mark Ronson and Bruno, followed by Beyonce. The pop and R&B star’s backing dancers were “dressed in attire that paid tribute to the Black Panthers and, by extension, the Black Lives Matter movement that Beyoncé sings about on the new cut”, Entertainment Weekly wrote of the performance.

Among the spectators at the NFL Championship Game – which saw the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers – was Coldplay frontman Chris Martin’s ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
