Beyonce’s publicist had no immediate response to an email request for comment.
The video for the track opens with Beyonce crouching atop a New Orleans police cruiser, up to its tires in flood water.
But could it be that there energy level is staggeringly high that they eventually steal the spotlight from the halftime headline performer, Coldplay?
The pop superstar, 34, debuted her new single, “Formation,” over the weekend, along with a music video containing references to Hurricane Katrina and the Black Lives Matter movement.
NEW YORK – CBS used the Super Bowl as a platform to announce the imminent end of the network’s most critically acclaimed show, the Sunday night drama “The Good Wife” starring Julianna Margulies.
He noted on his appearance at “Fox & Friends” Monday that police are the very people who protect the people, her, and us.
At one point Sunday, Beyonce and her troupe of dancers in short leather jumpsuits raised their fists – a gesture interpreted by some as the salute of the nationalist Black Panthers. It also depicts graffiti that reads “stop shooting us”, suggestive of the Black Lives Matter movement, which emerged in the wake of killings of unarmed black men, several at the hands of police.
Not only was Beyonce’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show incredible to watch – it was filled with political messages that ran much deeper than just the singing.
Lakeyta Bonnette, a Georgia State University political science professor, said more and more celebrities like Beyonce are moving toward public activism.
“Then, things took a decidedly funky turn, as Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars showed up to work through their hit ‘Uptown Funk, ‘ Mars styling and profiling, thick gold chain bouncing rhythmically around his neck”, it added. Beyonce is a singer most likely to use the position to her advantage, the former mayor explained.
Overall, Giuliani said that he didn’t like the halftime show, calling it “ridiculous” and proclaiming that he didn’t “know what the heck it was”.
“I don’t know what the heck it was. It was awful”, he said.

I love that Beyonce’s dancers are giving us Black Panther chic. “I mean, this is football, not Hollywood”.
