In the Rayman developer’s new game, players take on the role of a shaman in a pre-technology world, working with and against nature.

Experiment with your surroundings in your quest for survival – a simple plant could just as easily save your life… or bring about a swift death.
Also included below is the announcement trailer for WiLD if you haven’t seen it yet.
There will be the option to play offline and close your game off, though, if you’d rather keep all of Wild to yourself. I’m working half and half – I’m still working at Ubisoft.
At the PGW event, creator Michel Ancel and his colleague demonstrated the game and took control of a baby wild boar and a huge brown bear, IGN reported. You’ll also know his other game, Beyond Good and Evil, on the original Xbox.
The world of WiLD is full to the point of bursting with animals, all of which can be possessed, tamed and learnt from.
If you let them in, you could make a new ally, taking advantage of their divinities and skills to complement your own. Smaller, weaker animals like sheep and rabbits are easier to master than, say, wolves and bears, so it becomes a question of your own priorities with what you want to achieve in the game. (Early humans did not have maps.) You can see them from miles away.
What do you make of Playing as Animals in WiLD?

“Wild” is a very open sandbox game. Possessing and taming animals appears to be the core system in play, but you can’t just innately commune with the beasts. Maybe this game he is referring to is that one? If you’re a powerful fighter, you might find yourself invaded by a group of weaker players tasked with teaming up to take you down. While they’re distracted, he then rides into the village on a bear to fight them. “After 1 hour of Wild, we want every player to tell a different story”, he says. Wild was previously announced at Gamescom previous year, but little details have been known about the game – that is, until now.
