Beyond: Two Souls hits PS4 next week, Heavy Rain coming in March

The PS4 version of Beyond features “enhanced 1080p graphics including motion blur, bloom and depth of field effects, as well as improved lighting and shadows”, and uses the DualShock 4 speaker to “improve immersion when playing as the Entity”.

It also promises improved controls and balancing, bundled DLC, and the ability to replay the game in chronological order, which fans wanted the last time around. Of course, as it has been redone for the new system there will be a number of new features included.

Improved difficulty in a certain fight scene. If you end up buying Beyond: Two Souls, you’ll save a few money on Heavy Rain when it launches in March.

I felt pretty mixed when it came to this game. It’s story chugged along just fine, but all of the “crazy revelations” felt flat compared to what Quantic Dream did with the Origami Killer.

We learned Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain would be released on PlayStation 4 earlier this year, and today, Sony has announced the former will be released next week.
