Bhansali refutes rumours of remaking ‘Khalnayak’ with Ranveer
Mumbai: Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has rubbished the reports that he would be directing actor Ranveer Singh in a remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1993 hit film “Khalnayak”.

Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor (Male) award for his stupendous act in “Bajirao Mastani” whereas his rumoured lady-love Deepika Padukone bagged the Best Actor (Female) trophy for “Piku” at the Renault Sony Guild Awards 2015. I can make him remove his shirt onscreen and dance to a TatadaTadad; I could also make him become the powerful Bajirao. I recently went to a cinema hall to see the public reaction and it was fantastic.
He also shared that he is waiting to see Rohit Shetty’s “Dilwale”, which stars Bollywood’s iconic couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

Praising team members of both the films, Abhishek further said, “I am happy both of them are doing so well, it’s great when people work hard on films and audience appreciates”. Ranveer is cast as 18th century Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao I, and critics are floored by his power-packed performance. Our Monday (collection) was good. “So I asked her (Deepika) to do it.
