Biden political ad pulled
The spot uses audio from Biden’s Yale University commencement speech in May, but earlier this week a source close to Biden told the L.A. Times that the vice president, “has seen the ad and thinks the ad treads on sacred ground and hopes they don’t run it”. “The deadlines for qualifying on the ballots for key states haven’t passed yet, but are fast approaching”.

“DNC staff offers all Democratic presidential candidates and potential candidates briefings on the ballot and delegate process”, said a DNC spokesperson, who declined to confirm or deny the meeting took place.
Sixteen weeks after the “will he, won’t he” rumours began in earnest, the effort to elect USA vice-president Joe Biden as the Democratic party’s next nominee for president is, according to his supporters at least, now missing only one thing – the candidate. New York magazine’s Gabriel Sherman, citing a source tied to the Clinton campaign, highlighted several areas where Clinton’s operation could rip into Biden.
If he’s a go, a strategist who spoke to Daily Mail Online said Biden would most likely announce after Tuesday’s Democratic presidential debate.
‘Nobody has more respect for the Vice President and his family than we do, ‘ the advisor, Josh Alcorn said. It had planned to spend upward of $100,000 on a dramatic ad reminding voters that that the VP’s wife and daughter died in a vehicle crash that injured his two sons, but yanked it yesterday. It’s powerful, but exploitative.
But it’s also unclear how wide that opening is for Biden – or if the public might stop viewing him as favorably should he enter the partisan arena, especially once the inevitable hits start flying from his opponents and the media. Biden told the audience, “And if I don’t move, I’ll be demoted to secretary of State, or something like that”. Biden is drawing about 19 percent support in national Democratic polling, behind Sanders and Clinton, but has slightly less support in Iowa – the first nominating state where caucuses are scheduled for February 1.
It is possible too, of course, that overeager young operatives at Draft Biden have hitched themselves to an unwilling candidate.
Sonia Sloan, a Biden friend and campaign volunteer since the 1970s, said the video unnecessarily placed a spotlight on the family’s grief. In recent days, Clinton has said she would have a “much less harsh” deportation policy, and on Thursday she opposed Obama’s Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal. Biden did not attend a DNC meeting in August that the other candidates attended.

The vice president is said to be circling up with his family this weekend at their compound in Wilmington, Delaware. The crowd laughed and Biden closed that “That’s a joke”.
