Biden says Trump has ‘no clue’ about needs of middle class
“Sorry Joe, that was Ted Cruz!”

“It’s time to put a bully racist in his place”, said former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who lost to Clinton in the primaries.
Trump has said in radio ads that he would “bomb the hell out of” the group. “I’m not trying to be a wise guy”, Biden said to chuckles among the crowd. “Period”, which brought the house down to chants of “No clue!”
Bernie Sanders is thanking New England delegates, telling them that “as of yesterday, I guess, officially our campaign ended”.
Running mate Tim Kaine and Vice President Joe Biden are in the lineup, too.
He reminisced about when he accepted his nomination for vice president and spoke of the “incredible journey” he and President Obama have been on.
Vice President Joe Biden rejected Donald Trump’s TV catch-phrase – “you’re fired!” – with a line of his own during a furious tirade against the billionaire Republican nominee Wednesday. But they get up every morning. “Your voice? If so, you should vote for him”, Obama said.
The two-term president rallied his party’s faithful at their national convention, offering a comprehensive endorsement of his first secretary of state as the one person uniquely qualified to succeed him. Biden’s effort may have been the most effective yet.
Wednesday night’s Democratic session will include nods to the past and the possible future.
“Donald Trump has disrespected our military, and I think that will shine through tonight”, Sullivan said.
Biden opened the speech by touting the legacy of the Barack Obama administration.
The president made the comments in a taped interview aired Wednesday. He also argued that it was Clinton who was endangering national security with her policies in the Middle East and North Africa. “He has the character of a caring Christian missionary and he is a solid supporter of a strong America with a military to protect us in a challenging world”.
If Russia was indeed trying to influence the outcome on the USA presidential election, it would be “totally consistent with who Putin is”, Biden said with a laugh.
“I trust Hillary Clinton with our son’s life”, Kaine said. “And there’s not been enough focus on playing on their hopes, appealing to their better angels”, Biden said. He said Putin doesn’t want to see a united North Atlantic Treaty Organisation or a united European Union.
His startling remarks followed suggestions by Obama and other Democrats that the Russian government was behind the hack of Democratic National Committee emails that toppled the party’s chief earlier this week.

“This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent”, said Clinton adviser Jake Sullivan. But it also came with a warning: That last glass ceiling isn’t shattered yet and Republican Donald Trump is a formidable foe. What they’re doing is they’re breaking up our alliances. Holding a sign saying “Centenarian for Hillary”, 102-year-old Jerry Emmett of Prescott, Arizona, cast her state delegation’s vote. It’s a lovefest now. He talked about how important Hillary Clinton’s presidency would be to his daughters and granddaughters. He offered a deeply personal – though sanitized – account of their relationship, a policy-driven ode to the “best darn change-maker I have ever met”. And there are no bigger guns than the president and first lady, the vice president and a former president who is a longtime party favorite.
