Biden says Trump is too unsafe to make president
Vice President Joe Biden brought down the house at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday with an incredible speech that both sung the praises of the United States and explained precisely why he believes Donald Trump would be unsafe if elected president.

To so-called “Bernie-or-Bust” supporters who are adamant that they won’t vote for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, vice president Joe Biden said he’d offer the following message: “If you’re as moral and centered as you say you are, I know you can’t vote for Trump. He’s playing directly into the hands of a guy who says his overarching goal with Putin is to break up North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and to fracture Europe, makes him stronger”, Biden alleged. “Give me a break!” “That’s a bunch of malarkey”, he added.
The audience immediately picked up on the phrase and started chanting “Not a clue!”
He focused on the USA being a nation of immigrants since the 1740s and that in many ways the US gets to “cherry-pick” the best of the best. He took note of the loss of his son, Beau, to brain cancer a little more than a year ago.
“His cynicism is unbounded. There are a lot of voters out there who are enticed by what Trump is promising without understanding that the man doesn’t believe in anything, never really has and that’s scary”, said Mitch Crane, chair of the Sussex County Democrats.
But Biden put that behind him and delivered a stirring defense of Clinton as smart, tough and passionate about helping others.
Vice President Joe Biden says Hillary Clinton’s election will have a major impact on young girls. Referencing his nickname of “Middle-Class Joe”, Biden also critiqued Trump not understanding working Americans. “The threats are too great, the times are too uncertain to elect Donald Trump president of the United States”, Biden said.
“He is the embodiment of honor, resolve and character”, Biden said of Obama, calling him, “one of the finest presidents we have ever had”. It alienates those who we need in the fight against ISIS. The vice president continued, saying that Trump “betrays our values” and “all the Republicans know” it.
Biden was introduced by his wife, and the second lady, Dr. Jill Biden.
“Look, it’s a process”, Biden said in the interview. “He should have been our next president”. “She’s always there. She’s always been there”, he said.
