Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway is NOT convinced by Justin Bieber’s supportive tweet for The NHS Choir.
And while many were humbled by Justin’s gesture, it appears Kate wasn’t sold on the sentiment as the race heats up for the coveted number one spot.
The 21-year-old then shared a link to the choir’s website, where people can purchase the track.
Proceeds from the charity single will be divided between various health charities, including Carers UK and Mind.
Bieber is happily throwing in the towel, tweeting out: “Let’s do the right thing and help them win”.
The choir is made up of NHS staff, including doctors, physiotherapists, porters and nurses.
It’s the closest race to Christmas Number 1 since Rage Against The Machine went up against the X Factor single in 2009.
The victor of this year’s Christmas No. 1 will be announced at 1 p.m. local time on Christmas Day.
In recent times, the X Factor victor has dominated the race for the top-selling single, but this year Louisa Johnson’s Forever Young is unlikely to even make the top three.
Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself is just ahead of Gareth Malone’s choir with their single, A Bridge To You.
2015’s race for the Christmas number 1 is the closest in years, this article looks at how it reflects the changing charts and how the race for Christmas number 1 could return.
