Doctors from all over Joondalup Health Campus, where Ziad was delivered by caesarean section, flocked to see the not so little miracle, who is one of the heaviest babies ever delivered in Western Australia, according to Perth Now.

Ms Sykes said since giving birth at least 13 stunned doctors and midwives had come to see him and it was already very noticeable how big Ziad was. She had planned for a natural birth, but when doctors discovered how big Ziad was, those plans changed. I was having an anxiety attack so they had to put me under anaesthetic. “The doctor would not induce me (at first) but then measured me on the table and said he thought my baby would be about eight or nine pounds”.
Like any expecting parent, Breanna Sykes had plenty of newborn clothes at the ready, but she won’t be using any of them. “So I had to get a Ccaesarean, unfortunately”, Sykes said. He is one of the biggest babies ever born at the local hospital.
Breanna Sykes, 18, was warned by doctors not to push fearing she would break her pelvis.

‘But he’s here safe and happy… that’s all that matters, ‘ she added. “They have done all these tests and all the blood work, he’s perfectly healthy”.
