Big B, Salman, Akshay make Forbes’ highest paid actor list
Indeed it is not merely a fluke but a jubilant reality for some three Bollywood celebrities, who have now got honor of registering their names in top 10 paid Actors in World. They are among 12 newcomers on the list, after Forbes broadened out the criteria for inclusion.

Indian stars on the list earned a combined $140.5 million. However, surprisingly, B-Town’s Badshah, the King Khan holds 18th place with $18 million. Ranbir is ranked 30th on the list with $15 million earnings.
Topping the list though is Avengers and Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr, making it his third year at the top of the pack. Actor-filmmaker Jackie Chan is in the second position with $50 million and at number three stands Furious 7 actor Vin Diesel and his $47 million. The show, which was telecasted in 2014, even in its 8th session found a viewership of 5.2 million, says Forbes. Salman Khan $33.5 million 9.
Salman, 49, one of India’s biggest star, tied with Bachchan despite a career trailed by controversies, including conviction for poaching of a blackbuck and a hit-and-run auto incident which killed a homeless man.
Pixels may have been a bit of a bomb earlier this summer, but if there’s any doubt people still want to see Adam Sandler, his $41 million 2015, which lands him at fifth place on this list, should put that talk to bed.
He banks a decent pay check from movies such as “Roy” and “Bombay Velvet“, Forbes said. He has acted in more than 80 movies.
This is the first time that Forbes has considered actors outside Hollywood for the “World’s Highest-Paid Actors” list, which is a data based on the yearly earnings of each actor on a dollar basis. “And unlike the US, where the first dollar gross deals are a thing of the past, Indian stars continue to earn a cut of each film’s ticketing revenue”, she wrote.
