‘Big Ben’ uncertain for Denver NFL playoff game
One of those displays of out of control behavior occurred following a hit that Cincinnati linebacker Vontaze Burifict laid on Pittsburgh wide receiver Antonio Brown shortly after Brown missed a pass across the middle.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has torn ligaments in his throwing shoulder, but he plans to play in Sunday’s playoff game.
Adam Jones accused Antonio Brown of faking injury following the Cincinnati Bengals’ AFC wildcard play-off loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Reports suggest it doesn’t look good for Brown playing this weekend.
“We’re moving on”, Tomlin said. He had 119 yards against the Bengals, the best playoff performance of his career.
The Steelers said Brown is in concussion protocol, meaning they will compare his state of memory to an earlier test when he was healthy before the season started.
Much of Pittsburgh fans’ frustration with the Bengals this year circled around linebacker Vontaze Burfict. “When I saw it, and saw (Brown’s) hands flail, and I saw his head lean back, the first thing I said was, ‘[the officials] got it right.’ And that’s being honest”. “Personally, I don’t think it is because I don’t think you can get out of the way fast enough”, Harrison said on NFL Network following the game, per Will Brinson of CBS Sports. If Ben is a go at practice on Thursday he should be able to play this Sunday.

The duo combined for 123 yards rushing in their postseason debuts, helping take some of the pressure off Roethlisberger, who wasn’t particularly crisp in the rain even before Burfict drove him into the turf. The team is not yet ruling him out for Sunday’s game, and will let Williams spend another week rehabbing the foot. We’re not afforded that opportunity.
