‘Big Brother’ 17 spoilers: Week 9 POV ceremony reveals whether power used

“Big Brother US edition” was first launched in July 5, 2000 which then gathered superb ratings and numerous fans. His game benefits the most if Becky, Jackie or John returns to the game. I don’t know why, but these houseguests are insane to leave them in the house! But Austin knew that he wanted to stay on James’ good side in case James won HoH next week.

Big Brother season 17, week 9 saw Austin in power as Head of Household, and his reign was pretty disappointing. “I was aligned with everyone… whoops!”

The competition was a knock-out and the last two remaining houseguests were Liz and Johnny Mac. I would love it if she would save Johnny Mac. Is that sound strategy?

The comp lasted past the time frame of the live show. Julia kept her lead as Steve and Austin had tried to complete the competition in a quicker time. If it comes down to it – Austin or Liz would be evicted before her as they are challenge threats, and the same goes for Vanessa who is another shield for Julia. Vanessa thanked Austin for not putting her up for eviction. He offers to work with Vanessa. John asks Vanessa to please sleep on it and think about it in the morning. Vanessa talks with Austin and her initial instinct is to target Meg.

For Vanessa, she doesn’t have that much to worry about if she votes with him.

But Austin’s decision was made easier following the Week 9 Power of Veto competition.

Join us all summer long on Facebook and Twitter for Big Brother spoilers, results, recaps, and news! Julia set an impressive pace to start, but Vanessa easily beat it. John then failed miserably, and Meg didn’t recognize her own nose on one of the faces, so Vanessa secured the PoV and ensured her safety heading into Episode 29. Next, they showed jury house footage when Becky showed up to greet Jackie and Shelli.

Ultimately, Austin, Liz and Julia came to Vanessa and said they wanted to vote out John. Vanessa says she isn’t mad at him or the twins and she doesn’t understand why Steve would have any reason not to trust her. Steve says he made a mistake by not pulling him in to talk to him. Therefore, after the POV ceremony, she could be heard laughing with Austin, Meg, and James about how fake Steve is. Well, Vanessa herself. As my colleague Darren Franich has pointed out, Vanessa’s game is absolutely fascinating to watch-at times she seems to be the smartest person in the room, and yet moments later she looks as if she’s had a full mental break and completely forgotten how to stay competitive in the house.

Austin didn’t appreciate Meg’s comment about Steve and wavering on evicting John. Thanks to “Big Brother”, the networks also tied in young adults and edged Fox in that count. The Scamper Squad have a meeting where Austin reassures Steve he is not the target. But whomever is evicted could immediately return to the game. Will Shelli Poole make it back into the “BB17” house as many suspect, or will an underdog win the spot? We’re getting down to the wire and deals are going to be broken: this is “Big Brother”, it’s ok for you to lie, cheat and backstab to win $500,000.
