Big Team Battle Hits Halo 5: Guardians Along With 48 New Items
This week 343 Industries and Microsoft are rewarding all of the fans who bought it with the first of many promised free updates that promise to add more replay value, more customizations for gamers, and extra features that may have been lacking in the game’s initial launch.

For a more detailed look at all of the additions and changes made, we’d suggest checking out this blog post by 343 Industries.
Added BTB (Big Team Battle) Capture the Flag, Strongholds, and Slayer to matchmaking and custom games.
This update has been made available to all owners of Halo 5: Guardians, adding 8v8 Big Team Battles across four maps.
The download weighs in at 6.2 GB, which is a little bit smaller than the day one patch for Halo 5: Guardians.
In the meantime, players can enjoy the 48 new Reqs, including new weapons, weapon skins, armor, emblems, and a new “Shove It” assassination the update “Battle of Shadow and Light” brings to “Halo 5”. Additionally, match length will be 16 minutes.
The Warzone Assault mode also received a few tweaks following 343 Industries observing that the assaulting team was losing significantly more than winning. A new playlists inside arena holds all the new Big Team Battle playlist. Though the title garnered $400 Million from sales, the game can still be declared far from ideal for the time being, and the rectification may arrive soon enough. If you’re still experiencing issues, please create a new thread in the “Halo 5: Guardians” support forum.

Halo 5 Guardians has stayed on top of the mountain since it was released, going alongside high-power franchises such as Tom Clancy’s Ghost Rainbow Six Siege, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Fallout 4. If that happens, the game will be viable long after the holiday season has come to an end.
