Biggest Talking Points From WWE Raw (Aug 15)
ThIs match was a late entry into the card for Summerslam but it will be a good match to showcase an excellent veteran and an incredible star who looks like he is on is way to the very top in the near future. What should we expect at SummerSlam 2016?

The failing brand had all but lost the Monday Night Wars with the WWE, and the used-to-be wrestling powerhouse was losing thousands of viewers each week due to rushed matches and poor writing. Which Rollins does, as his endless complaining finally draws the Demon King himself out. The situation was taken another step further when each of the team’s weapons of choice were brought in as The Dudleyz (tables), Hardyz (ladders) and Edge & Christian (chairs) all brought their own elements into a new concept, which now has its own pay-per-view today. Seeking payback for Big E’s injury, Xavier Woods made ready to whack Anderson between the legs with Francesca II until Gallows pulled his partner to safety. We were treated to yet another segment in which “Dr”.
And now, the Best and Worst of WWE Raw for August 15, 2016. Gallows and Anderson challenge The New Day to the Tag Team Championships at SummerSlam and could use win tonight to help build some momentum before the big match. The Woman’s champion? Do we need additional tag team champions or another Woman’s champion on Smackdown? While it’s nice seeing the New Day as the Tag Team champions, I feel their time is running out.
WWE has been treating SummerSlam nearly like WrestleMania over the last few years, and that has never been the case more so than this year. You thought seeing Demon Bálor was bad? At SummerSlam live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles in 2014, they had a solid back-and-forth match, which Paige won by hitting the RamPaige DDT to win the gold for a second time. Roman Reigns comes out and interrupts, demands a title shot (even though he has not been on a winning streak), and when Rusev says no, steals his booze, insults his wife, and then causes Lana to go face first into cake. I wasn’t aware that honour was a stipulation in wrestling.
That means that a clean loss is not going to happen. The match itself was good, but Rusev’s character was on-point. This was a major misfire and a poor main event heading into SummerSlam.
Unsurprisingly, the most entertaining moment of the night involved Brock Lesnar suplexing someone to space. Obviously everybody aspires to be on Raw or Smackdown. In fact, he demanded a fight with Lesnar to try to earn his contract. I even had to comment on Twitter about it last night. Vince probably had a heart attack backstage, but you can hardly say no to Brock Lesnar, can you? The best part of it is the look on Rollins’ face when he realizes what’s happening.
– There was very little for the women to do this week, which is a crying shame. Mick Foley calms them down by letting them know when they can let out their frustrations.
Jax has been dominating several local talent over the past couple weeks, and tonight’s no different.
Moreover, it will be interesting to see if Bray Wyatt continues to be an ominous thorn in the side of the WWE World Title picture. Hopefully this is followed up in their match on Sunday.

After some weird feuding over the past few weeks, Cass and Amore officially have a match at SummerSlam against Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens (a.k.a. Jeri-KO). But here’s my question, what does the victor get? Nor is anyone intimating they reinitiate a beef with Kevin Owens (let’s not let them resemble the wagon-circling circus that is the Prime Time Players).
