Biggins ‘very sorry and very sad’ over CBB removal after unacceptable language

During his time on the show, the star said that bisexuals are responsible for the wide spread of AIDS – a remark which cost him his place on the Channel 5 reality show.

The entertainer was thrown out by the reality show’s organisers after what they said was his third use of “unacceptable language”.

Shamed Christopher Biggins has broken his silence following his removal from the Celebrity Big Brother house, revealing he has apologised to fellow housemate Katie Waissel for a joke he made about Nazis – but standing by some of his other controversial comments. I think it was a bisexual disease, if I’m honest.

Fellow contestant Renee Graziano then said she had been told by an unnamed Central Intelligence Agency agent that AIDS was deliberately created to “kill off” third world countries, which Mr Biggins agreed could be true.

Biggins, who won I’m a Celebrity.Get Me Out of Here! had already been in trouble for comments made earlier in the week about bisexuality.

A video clip and images have emerged of Christopher Biggins dressed in a Nazi uniform following his shock exit from the Celebrity Big Brother house last week.

It went on to explain that Christopher “has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public” and went on to stress that “Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offence”.

He later apologised to Waissel and Big Brother for the “trite, ridiculous remark”, which was not broadcast but which he discussed in an interview in The Sun.

DJ James Whale collected Biggins’ suitcase from the storage room.

Showbiz agent Jonathan Shalit, who represents Biggins, told Jewish News: “I have been close friends and worked with Biggins for many years and can confirm that he would never intentionally cause offence”.

He said he was looking forward to seeing the camp – where over a million Jews were murdered – especially after what had happened on Big Brother.

I would also guess it’s a comment that’s going to anger those who experienced it firsthand as well the families of those who didn’t make it out.

Big Brother’s Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark gave a statement from the embattled comic, which was read out during a segment with show hosts Eamonn and Ruth.
