The Democratic presidential candidate said in Thursday’s debate that the federal government needs to hold MI responsible for the situation in Flint, while finding ways to remedy the “terrible burden” that people in Flint are facing, such as helping to pay for health care costs.
On a certain level, Bill Clinton should be no more important to the campaign than any of the other candidate spouses.
And Bill Clinton chastised the band of online Sanders’ supporters known as the “Bernie Bros”, who have trolled Clinton supporters online. “It hasn’t changed (Sanders’) view”, she said.

“We’ve been struggling so long in the Flint area and to see somebody like her to come in and actually want to help our city it’s just tremendous” said longtime Flint resident, Pat Cavette. Sanders’ strength with younger voters only heightens the threat he poses to what was once Clinton’s decisive national lead. And when you see them together, there’s no question whose show this is.
The new Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll shows good signs for the former first lady.
“Feminists choosing her just because she is a woman, is the opposite of what feminism means”. While these numbers would be exciting for any campaign, they have also set the bar very high for Sanders as voting in the state begins. “They know my opponent, too, that is absolutely true”.
This could be a big problem for Hillary Clinton.
